Jandek at Night: Improvisations

suspended_state Nice powerful piano jams (+ a few pointless found sound tracks?)
Focus is more on rhythm than melody & most tracks are built around almost-atonal but not dissonant right-hand improvs over steady 2-3 note figures held by the left hand, with a monolithic feel. Think of the piano fugues from tense scenes in old cartoons. Lots of variations and nuances though, so it's more varied than that. Title track sounds like Jandek right from the start, Sister is the sweet melodic number. Very enjoyable. Favorite track: Sister.
